'Mitjyu' Team Begins Film Workshop, Shooting to Start in Magh

Kathmandu: Anil Budha Magar, the director of the successful film 'Gharjwai', has started the workshop for his second film, 'Mitjyu'. He began the workshop this Saturday.

The workshop includes actors Teriya Fauja Magar, Puskar Gurung, Raj Thapa, Subarna Thapa, Anu Thapa, Smita Lamichhane, among others. Director Magar stated that the workshop is being conducted to help the actors feel comfortable with their respective roles. According to him, the workshop will continue for several more days.

The film's producer, Janak Gharti Magar, mentioned that the workshop aims to provide the actors with deeper insights into their characters. According to him, the film will go on the floor for shooting in the first week of Magh.

He said, "It becomes easier for actors once they understand their roles during the shoot. After understanding the story and their characters, acting becomes smoother, and it also reduces shooting time and costs. If we do 'action-cut' directly on the spot, actors might not deliver as expected. That is why we have started the workshop." The production team informed that the workshop is currently taking place at the GM Movies office.

The film stars Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, Teriya Fauja Magar, Puskar Gurung, Shishir wangdel, Raj Thapa, Subarna Thapa, Anu Thapa, Smita Lamichhane, Arun Pun Magar, Uttam Raj Pandey, Sabin Kattel, Umesh Sonam, Pabitra Khadka, Chahana Rana Magar, Anusha Rai, Khadka Bahadur Pun Magar (Khabapu), and others.

Firoz Khadka is working as the chief assistant director, while Anil Dahal, Sanju Nepali, and Almina Rai are assistant directors.

The production designer is Kishor Nepal, the dress designer is Sangita Roka Magar, and the editor is Lokesh Bajracharya. The music for the film's songs will be composed by Shree Krishna Bam Malla and Prakash Saput. 

Shishir sishangkhe is the cinematographer, and Prabhat Bista will handle stunt direction. Sound design will be managed by Nabin Shrestha. RR Films is the distributor for the movie.

The film, which will be shot in various locations in Rolpa, has also set its release date. According to the production team, the film will be released on Jestha 15, coinciding with Republic Day.
