Directed by Yam Sherpa, 'Mirmire' to be released from Magh 1

Kathmandu. Actor Dayahang Rai has said that the movie 'Mirmire' is a cinema that carries the story of a father and daughter, as well as the future that parents envision for their children.

Dayahang explains that 'Mirmire' tells the story of a father who hides his main struggles from his daughter and shows only happiness in front of her. He stated that he focused on how to show this emotion deeply from within.

He believes that while it looks like a story of a father and daughter at first glance, there is much more to 'Mirmire' when looked at closely.

"I chose this movie because I am interested in stories that seem simple at first but reveal deeper layers when you think about them," Dayahang adds. "Rather than just focusing on sadness or happiness, this is a movie to be watched with passion."

He says that 'Mirmire' is a story that makes people think after watching it.

Written and directed by Yam Sherpa, the movie 'Mirmire' is scheduled to be released on Magh 1. Presented by Yarsa Films, the movie stars Dayahang Rai, Prakash Saput, Sirjana Ninglekhu, Maotse Gurung, Chhulthim Gurung, Bholaraj Sapkota, Bimal Yadav, Shaisa Gauchan, Divisha Panta, Chirag Shrestha, and Namanraj Gajurel.

Nimu Sherpa, Chhongba Lama Sherpa, and Ang Tshering Sherpa are the producers of 'Mirmire', while Govinda Bohara and Sudip Kunwar are the co-producers. The executive producer is Rohit Kattel, who is also the operator of RR Films and a movie distributor.

Birendra Shahi is the line producer, Sudip Kunwar is the chief assistant director, Sanju Thalang Limbu is the makeup artist, and Dilip Panta is the production controller.

RR Films, owned by Rohit Kattel and Ratna Shrestha, has taken the responsibility for the nationwide distribution of the movie 'Mirmire'.
