'Mirmire' Released in Theaters Across the Country Today

Kathmandu. The movie 'Mirmire,' starring Dayahang Rai in the lead role, has been released today. The film started its screening today on the occasion of Maghe Sankranti.

The main theme of the movie is the emotional relationship between a father and daughter and a triangular love story. Dayahang Rai said he acted in this cinema because it is an answer to those who say Nepali actors lack passion.

Yam Sherpa wrote and directed 'Mirmire.' Presented by Yarsa Films, the movie stars Dayahang Rai, Prakash Saput, Sirjana Ninglekhu, Maotse Gurung, Chulthim Gurung, Bholaraj Sapkota, Bimal Yadav, Shaisa Gauchan, Divisha Panta, Chirag Shrestha, and Namanraj Gajurel.

Nimu Sherpa, Chhongba Lama Sherpa, and Angchhiring Sherpa are the producers of 'Mirmire,' while Govinda Bohara and Sudip Kunwar are the co-producers. The executive producer of this movie is Rohit Kattel, a film distributor and operator of RR Films.

Birendra Shahi is the line producer, Sudip Kunwar is the chief assistant director, Sanju Thalang Limbu is in charge of makeup, and Dilip Panta is the production controller.

The movie 'Mirmire' is distributed by Rohit Kattel and Ratna Shrestha’s RR Films.

The distribution company RR Films informed that the 105-minute long movie received more than 150 shows nationwide. In the country’s largest multiplex chain, QFX, it got 16 shows in the Kathmandu Valley and 23 shows outside the valley.

Similarly, the second largest multiplex chain, INI, gave 11 shows across its 6 outlets, Big Movies gave 3 shows, Fcube Cinemas gave 5 shows, and One Cinemas gave 9 shows at its 2 outlets.
