Deepraj and Amrita Appeal for Votes in ‘Mero Voice Universe’ and ‘Mero Dance Universe’

Kathmandu – The final of the second season of ‘Mero Voice Universe’ and ‘Mero Dance Universe,’ organized by Intra Foundation, will take place this Saturday. As the competition reaches its final stage, the finalists are busy garnering votes in their favor.

The competition has become the center of attention for both participants and audiences, especially since the winner will receive NPR 10 million. Open to all Nepali speakers in Nepal and abroad, this season has seen finalists from Sikkim in both formats. Deepraj Rai, a finalist in ‘Mero Voice Universe,’ and Amrita Rai, a finalist in ‘Mero Dance Universe,’ have jointly appealed to the public to vote for them.

During a media interaction held in Kathmandu on Thursday evening, they expressed that reaching the final was possible due to the love and support of viewers and well-wishers, and urged the public to vote for them. Dance teacher Amrita, selected for the competition, said she has received immense love from both Nepal and Sikkim and expressed confidence in winning the title.

Deepraj, recalling his participation in the first season, said he has worked to overcome past shortcomings and aims to bring the title to Sikkim this time. He added that reaching the finals itself is a kind of victory, achieved through the love of the audience.

Praising Nepal, Nepali soil, and Nepali art and culture as among the best in the world, Deepraj and Amrita said, “Although we were born in Sikkim, our hearts are Nepali. We request all Nepalis, not only in Nepal and Sikkim but across the world, to cast their votes for us.”

To ensure victory for both Deepraj and Amrita, many artists representing the Sikkim government’s Film Development Board are actively campaigning in Kathmandu. Votes for the finalists of ‘Mero Voice Universe’ and ‘Mero Dance Universe’ can be cast via mobile SMS or by downloading the Intra Foundation’s application ‘My Intra Apps,’ where one vote is free, and additional votes are available through a paid option.
