Lyricist Ganesh Upreti’s Teej Song “Ae Sathi Sangi Ho” Released
Kathmandu – On the occasion of Haritalika Teej, a major festival for Hindu Nepali women marked by dancing in red saris at their maternal homes, meeting with sisters, enjoying the traditional dar feast, and worshipping Lord Shiva, a new Teej song titled “Ae Sathi Sangi Ho” has been released. The song was launched today through Arena Entertainment’s YouTube channel and features the melodious voice of singer Poonam Gurung.
The lyrics are by Ganesh Upreti, with music arranged by Nhuchhe Maharjan and production by Karuna Kandel. Recorded at Radio Nepal’s studio, the song blends Nepali folk essence with modern musical elements. Lyricist Upreti expressed confidence that it will win the hearts of listeners and viewers alike.
Active in the music field for about a decade, Ganesh Upreti is known for more than a dozen popular songs including “Timro Dilko”, “Lagan Jurera”, “Laideu Maya”, “Nazar Ko Guleli”, “Jale Rumal”, and “Dil Yaha”.
