Lekhnath Drinking Water Committee Donates Dustbins to Promote Cleanliness in Pokhara Ward 29

Pokhara, Shnrawan —
The Lekhnath Drinking Water Consumer Committee has donated six dustbins to the Pragati Tole Development Organization in Ward No. 29 of Pokhara Metropolitan City to enhance sanitation efforts in the area.
The donation was officially handed over on Sunday during a program held at the Omkareshwar Temple premises. Chairperson Murari Sharma, Vice-Chairperson Pushpakamal Dhungana, Secretary Narayani Bhattarai, and other representatives of the Drinking Water Committee presented the dustbins to the officials of the Pragati Tole Development Organization.
Ward Chairperson Shriprasad Gurung was present as the chief guest at the event. He thanked the committee for the support and urged local residents to use the dustbins properly to maintain cleanliness in the neighborhood.
Chairperson Sharma expressed hope that this contribution would inspire greater involvement in sanitation campaigns and called the partnership between the two organizations a positive initiative.
The program was chaired by Veer Bahadur Khatri, Vice-Chairperson of the Pragati Tole Development Organization, and conducted by Secretary Bishnuhari Paudel. Also present were Treasurer Suryabahadur Bik, Joint Secretary Radhika Adhikari, and members Masina Bhandari, Samjhana Tamang, Kamala G.C., and Bina Subedi.
This kind of community support is expected to play an important role in improving local hygiene and cleanliness.
