KOSHI EXCELLENCE AWARD 2026: Interaction with Former Governor Adhikari

Itahari: Nayan Media Foundation held an interaction with Maha Prasad Adhikari, former Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank and Chief Advisor of the Foundation, regarding the 'Koshi Excellence Award – 2026' which the Foundation is organizing at Soaltee Westend in Itahari on Falgun 7th.

The informal discussion was organized at the Foundation's office in Itahari.

During the discussion, Chief Advisor and former Governor Adhikari remarked that organizing an award of this caliber for Koshi Province is an excellent endeavor in itself.

He emphasized the need for everyone to unite and work towards making the award transparent, impartial, and extremely important for the province. 

Similarly, Santosh Dhamala, the Event Manager for the awards, stated that they are committed to making this year's program just as outstanding as last year's. 

He informed that preparations are underway, covering all necessary areas to ensure there are no shortcomings in the event.

Pawan Adhikari, Chairman of the Foundation, provided updates on the preparations and progress made so far for the awards.

He mentioned that last year, the awards were given in more than 13 categories including Education, Health, Communication, Literature, Tourism, Agriculture, Corporate, Banking, Sports, Social, Startup, Technology, and Insurance.

He also stated that three new categories—Automobile, Music, and Capital Market—have been added this year. 

A four-member judging committee has also been formed under the leadership of Constituent Assembly member Pawan Sharda for the award selection process.
