KFC’s 23rd Outlet Opens at Chipledhunga, Pokhara

Pokhara: The world-famous food brand KFC has launched a new outlet at Chipledhunga, Pokhara. Devyani International Nepal Pvt. Ltd., the official franchise for KFC in Nepal, inaugurated its 23rd outlet at Chipledhunga’s Selvej on Thursday.

The inauguration was performed by Krishna Dev Pradhanang, Chairman of Saleways Cash & Carry Pvt. Ltd., and Dev Krishna Parajuli, Ward Chairperson of Pokhara-4. With this, KFC now has its second outlet in Pokhara. The company believes that the new outlet will become an attractive destination for chicken lovers.

KFC, known globally for its “World’s Best Chicken,” has been serving customers with delicious offerings such as Hot & Crispy Chicken, Chicken Popcorn, Chicken Strips, Ginger Burger, and KFC Buckets. Fourteen people have been employed at the Chipledhunga outlet, while Devyani International Nepal CFO Rituraj Shah stated that over 400 people have jobs across the country.

On the occasion of the inauguration, a special discount has been arranged for Friday. The outlet will operate daily from 9 AM to 9 PM. Rituraj Shah also mentioned that this outlet, opened in collaboration with Salesberry, is the first of its kind in this partnership.

After entering Nepal in 2009, the company opened an outlet at Lakeside, Pokhara in 2017. Shah added that KFC aims to reach 25 outlets across Nepal by December 2025.

With the opening of the new outlet, KFC has also launched a “KFC Celebration Offer” to mark Christmas and the New Year. Shah noted that the company regularly introduces various offers for its customers.
