Kaski Idol Top Ten Announced: Tough Competition in Both Singing and Dancing

Pokhara. The top ten selection phase of the ongoing Kaski Idol, jointly organized by Rupa Wangmaya Pratishthan and Geetkar Pratishthan in Pokhara, has concluded.

Contestants presented their performances in both singing and dancing categories of the Idol. The top ten selected in the singing category are: Sushant Bhandari, Bishal Pande, Deepson Darji, Bishwas Sadhak, Krishma Paudel, Rojina Ghatane, Sabina Pariyar, Santosh BK, Suraj Pariyar, and Deepak Sunar.

Similarly, the top ten in the dancing category are: Kripa BK, Lidiya Sunar, Akshata Sapkota, Akrisha Pokhrel, Lojina Patel, Prashansa Sapkota, Shikha Pun, Ridam Limbu, Kristina GC, and Elina Rana Magar.

The program, chaired by Adarsha Pokhrel, President of Rupa Wangmaya Pratishthan and program coordinator, had the Chief Guest, Rajan Subedi, Ward Chairman of Rupa Gaunpalika-2, who expressed confidence that the competition will produce excellent artists.

Subedi, who is also a singer, stated that Kaski Idol will give birth to real idols in the fields of singing and dancing, and local levels should not hesitate to invest in art, literature, and music.

Nirajan Koirala, Sudip Dhungana, Subas Khadka, and Karate instructor Binod Negi, among others, offered their best wishes at the event.

Jhalak Gurung, a lifetime member of Rupa Wangmaya Pratishthan, shed light on the objective of Kaski Idol and its role in identifying local talent. 

The welcome song was presented by Sanam Gurung. The program was successfully conducted by Jyoti Khadka.
