Kantipur Academy of Science and Technology Concludes Annual Sports Meet

Pokhara. The annual sports meet program of Kantipur Academy of Science and Technology, Pokhara-10 Chauthe, has been concluded.

The school organized the sports meet with the objective of developing the all-round abilities of the students by bringing out their inherent talents.

The school, which is affiliated with N-PABSON Kaski, has been organizing such programs every year to identify the capabilities of its students.

The founder principal of the school, Manakaji Gurung, who is also the Vice-President of N-PABSON Kaski, informed that the sports meet, held on Sunday, saw competitions for students from Class 4 to 10 held at the Pokhara Stadium, while competitions for students from Nursery to Class 3 were held at the school premises.

According to him, the sports meet included all categories of athletics. The school also presented a march past competition and various cultural programs during the event.

'Every year, we have been organizing such programs to showcase the potential of the students,' said Manakaji Gurung, the school's founder principal and Vice-President of N-PABSON Kaski. 

'Through such programs organized by the school, students have achieved excellence in areas other than studies as well.' He noted that such programs set an example that life can be successful and strong through learning outside the classroom.

Inaugurating the program, Hemanta Adhikari, President of N-PABSON Kaski, stated that the program was excellent for identifying the talents of the students.

'N-PABSON Kaski also organizes a sports festival and a child talent identification program every year, in which this school has been performing excellently,' President Adhikari said. 'In addition to studies in the school, such extra-curricular activities have established it as a recognized school in Kaski.'

The program, presided over by the school's founder principal, Manakaji Gurung, was hosted by the school's teacher, Saraswati Shrestha.
