‘Kalli’ Teaser: A Story of the God and Demon Within
The teaser for the film ‘Kalli’, which is set to be released on Falgun 1, has been made public. The released teaser appears strong, showcasing a unique subject matter.
Produced by Kiran Nepali, the film is directed by Laxman Sunar. The story is written by Sunar himself, while the screenplay is penned by Mahesh Dawadi.
The film features a lead cast including Uttam Pradhan, Saugat Malla, Arpan Thapa, Benisha Hamal, Sulakshyan Bharati, Nazeer Husen, Barsha Raut, Begam Nepali, Binod Neupane, Rare Rai, Priyana Acharya, Arjun Gurung, Sanjok Rana, Gita Adhikari, Kul Bahadur Adhikari, Saraswati Khatri, and Shyam Magar.
Child actors Upesh Dhakal, Manjila Baniya, and Samarpan Khatiwada also appear in the film. Actress Parikshya Limbu is seen at the end of the teaser, appearing as a "surprise package" in the movie.
The film is cinematographed by Nisal Paudel and edited by Milan Shrestha. Featuring music by Ashish Abiral, Sarit Rai, and Ketan Chhetri, the movie includes action by NB Maharjan. Suraj Acharya serves as the production head.
‘Kalli’ presents a story of Gods and Demons. It explores the narrative of the deity and the devil residing within a human being. The "God" within the human mind carries sentiments of hard work, labor, and honesty, while the "Demon" carries greed, avarice, and attachment.
The film portrays the circumstances that arise once a human kills the God within their heart and invites the Demon in.
The filmmaking appears robust. The background score and certain dialogues presented in the teaser are expected to play a significant role in drawing the audience to the theaters.
The film is produced under the banners of Lekali Entertainment and Kasturi Production.
