'Kalli' Filming Concludes with Pooja's Item Dance in Chobhar
The filming of the movie 'Kalli', which is scheduled for release on Falgun 1, has been completed. The production team informed that the entire filming wrapped up following the completion of a song shoot in Chobhar.
Producer Kiran Nepali shared that the filming packed up in 60 days after a two-day shoot for actress Pooja Sharma's item dance. The movie was primarily filmed in Jumla.
Pooja performed to the song titled 'Kya Ramri'. The song, composed by Ashish Aviral and choreographed by Ramji Lamichhane, features vocals by Ashish Aviral and Melina Rai with lyrics by Surendra Rana. Actress Sharma mentioned that she decided to work on the song because she liked it as soon as she heard it.
This is the first project Pooja has worked on following her marriage. She expressed her happiness at performing an item dance for the first time in her career. Alongside Pooja, actor Uttam Pradhan, Kiran Shrestha, and artist Sulakshyan Bharati also performed in the music video.
Presented by Lekali Entertainment and Kasturi Production, the film features a story and direction by Laxman Sunar and writing by Mahesh Dawadi.
The film stars Uttam Pradhan, Saugat Malla, Arpan Thapa, Benisha Hamal, Sulakshyan Bharati, Nazeer Husen, Barsha Raut, Begam Nepali, Binod Neupane, Rare Rai, Priyana Acharya, Arjun Gurung, Sanjok Rana, Gita Adhikari, Kul Bahadur Adhikari, Saraswati Khatri, and Shyam Magar in lead roles. Additionally, Upesh Dhakal, Manjila Baniya, and Samarpan Khatiwada appear as child actors.
Nisal Poudel served as the DOP, Milan Shrestha as the editor, and Ashish Aviral, Sarit Rai, and Ketan Chhetri as the music composers, with Suraj Acharya as the production chief.
The teaser for the film has already been released and has been well-received by the audience. The movie tells a story of gods and demons. the production team stated that the song will be released shortly.
