43rd Anniversary of Kalika Secondary School Concluded

Pokhara: The 43rd anniversary and Parents' Day of Kalika Secondary School, located in Aapbhunjyang, Pokhara Metropolitan City, Ward No. 33, has been concluded.

In the program chaired by the School Management Committee Chairman Mohan Bahadur Thapa, Gandaki Province Assembly Member Bhim Karki emphasized that everyone must work together for the development of community schools. Praising the progress made by Kalika in the educational sector, Karki expressed his commitment to always remain ready to provide necessary support to the school on his behalf.

Presenting the annual report, the school's Principal, Rupindra Pravahi Joshi, informed that efforts are underway to make the school technology-friendly. On that occasion, the "Kalika Year Honor 2082" was presented to the outgoing Chairman of the School Management Committee Ganga Bahadur Pun, the outgoing Chairman of the Teacher-Parent Association Lalkaji Gurung, and teacher Gangaram Bishwokarma.

Similarly, 14 endowment fund donors who established funds at the school, teachers who successfully secured a 100 percent pass rate in the 2081 SEE, and 14 alumni who supported the school were also honored.

In the program welcomed by the Chairman of the Teacher-Parent Association DB Bishwokarma, best wishes were offered by outgoing Chairman Ganga Bahadur Pun, endowment fund founder Dinesh Acharya, Principal of Shishu Kalyan Secondary School Sudan Poudel, member of the Social Audit Committee Mahendra Kumar Shrestha, and student Kritika KC, among others.

On the occasion, prizes were distributed to the winners of extra-curricular activities and outstanding students of the 2081 academic session by former Chairpersons Som Bahadur Gurung, Ganga Bahadur Gurung, Durga Bahadur Gurung, Hiraman Shrestha, former Principal Prem Prasad Pokharel, School Management Committee member Jyoti Gurung, Khim Bahadur Khatri, and Teacher-Parent Association member Krishna Kumar Shrestha.

The program, which also featured cultural performances by students, was conducted by Assistant Principal Bal Kumari Thapa Magar and teachers Bishworaj Bastola and Yagya Bahadur Baniya.kalikanews-1769141191.jpg
