Two New Stories Arrive in Nepali Cinema: Formal Announcement of 'Kaalkatti' and 'Kaka Ko Bihe'

The saying "Nothing is gained before its time or more than what fate allows" is now preparing to come to life on the silver screen. A long-held dream of filmmaking is finally turning into reality. Under the banner of Raghuji Films, two Nepali films carrying different flavors and two different worlds, 'Kaalkatti' and 'Kaka Ko Bihe', have been formally announced.

Expected to bring new energy, fresh thinking, and a distinct presentation to Nepali cinema, these films are being produced through the powerful team-up of writer/director Amardeep Sapkota and media personality Raghunath Sapkota. The production team is preparing to bring both films to the audience in the coming year, 2083 BS.

Although there were preparations to officially kick off the films by releasing a teaser on Magh 1st, the teaser could not be released due to some unavoidable reasons. However, Raghuji Films officially announced the projects by giving a first look through posters to the audience waiting for the teaser, which has further increased curiosity among film lovers.

Of the two films being produced under the Raghuji Films banner, 'Kaalkatti' is preparing to head into filming. It is reported that the shooting of the film will begin toward the end of the month of Magh. The production side stated that the selection process for the cast and technical team is currently moving forward at a rapid pace.

Raghunath Sapkota is the producer of the film 'Kaalkatti', while Amardeep Sapkota has taken full responsibility for the story, screenplay, dialogue, and direction. The responsibility for cinematography will rest on the shoulders of Nisal Paudel, while composer Bhim Bista will translate the film's emotions into music.

RR Films will distribute the movie across Nepal, and the digital rights have been secured with OSR Digital, which is expected to further strengthen the film's market expansion and reach.

With the release of the poster, interest has grown among movie lovers regarding what kind of story, conflict, and cinematic experience 'Kaalkatti' will bring. 

The production team stated they will soon release the teaser and further details. After completing the filming and preparation for the release of 'Kaalkatti', the shooting of 'Kaka Ko Bihe' will commence.
