Journalist Dhaulagiri's Two Journalism Books Launched

November 5.Two books by journalist Binod Prasad Sharma (Binod Dhaulagiri) were launched on Wednesday.

The books, which cover the subjects of "Writing and Editing" and "Art of Writing" for the Master's in Media Technology program under Purbanchal University, were jointly unveiled by the Chief Information Commissioner of the National Information Commission, Dr. Suresh Prasad Acharya, and the Campus Chief of Shepherd College Kathmandu, Kabita Sharma.

At the book launch ceremony held at Shepherd College Kathmandu, Chief Information Commissioner Acharya stated that the two books will be useful not only for the study of journalism but also for subject-specific knowledge, skills, and the art of writing.

Kabita Sharma, Campus Chief of Shepherd College, expressed her pleasure that the books based on the curriculum had been published.

The author of the books, Binod Dhaulagiri, mentioned that he prepared the books to fulfill the lack of curriculum-based textbooks that they experienced during their own studies.

Both books are taught in the First Semester of the Masters in Media Technology program under Purbanchal University.

Binod Dhaulagiri, who is also the editor of the digital magazine Was Khabar, is a Central Council Member of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ).
