'Jerry On Top,' Which Earned 12 Crores, is Now Set to Screen in Malaysia
Kathmandu. The film 'Jerry On Top,' which is being screened in Nepal and various other countries around the world, is now scheduled for release in Malaysia.
The film, which has already done business worth over 12 crores (NPR) in Nepal, recently confirmed its Malaysian screening.
Hari Bhattarai, a Malaysia-based businessman who is the coordinator for the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Asia Pacific, has acquired the screening rights for the film in the respective country.
Bhattarai stated that 'Jerry On Top' will have a box office release in Malaysia starting the first week of December.
"We plan to do a box office release in major cities and then screen the film using the most convenient method available in other areas with a high concentration of Nepalis," Bhattarai said.
The film, which had a simultaneous box office release in Nepal, Australia, and the USA, is currently being screened in various countries in Europe and the Middle East, and is also scheduled for release in the UK, Korea, and Thailand.
This film, which has become the highest-grossing in the career of lead actor Anmol KC, is also being screened with high demand in the international market.
Produced under the banner of Ananya Films and presented by Saroj Neupane, the film is directed by Suyog Gurung.
In addition to Anmol KC, the film features performances by Aanchal Sharma, Jassita Gurung, Bhuwan KC, Kedar Ghimire, Usha Khadgi, and Surakshya Panta.
