Jerry on Top’ Becomes Viral Sensation on Social Media

Kathmandu: The recently released film Jerry on Top has taken social media by storm. Its teaser, which was released last Monday, has already received over 1.5 million views on Budhasubba Digital’s YouTube channel alone.

The teaser has topped the YouTube Movie Trending Chart in Nepal and claimed the top spot in more than a dozen other countries. The international craze for the teaser signals promising prospects for the film’s global reach.

Fans and reviewers across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook have praised the film’s visuals, performances, background music, and VFX. Jerry on Top also features scenes related to the Mount Everest expedition, which have captured viewers’ attention.

Directed by Suyog Gurung and presented by Saroj Nyaupane, the film is set for theatrical release on October 17. The cast includes popular actors Anmol KC, Aanchal Sharma, Jasita Gurung, Kedar Ghimire ‘Magne Budha,’ Bhuvan KC, Usha Upreti, and Surakshya Pant. Anmol KC expressed gratitude to fans for their overwhelming love and support.

The story is penned by Hemraj B.C., with music by Kaliprasad Baskota, Jayan J Vaiba, Johan Chamling Rai, and Brijesh Shrestha. The screenplay is by Biswas Timilsina, and cinematography by Dulip Regmi. The film’s distribution rights in Nepal are held by Reach Entertainment and FD Company.
