International Screening Rights Sale for the Film 'Mirmire' Begins
Kathmandu. The sale of international screening rights for the film 'Mirmire' has begun. The distribution rights for some countries, including the Middle East, have been sold.
Director Yam Sherpa informed that the screening rights for the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Israel, and Malaysia have been sold. Ashish Entertainment has acquired the distribution rights for these countries.
A while ago, two posters were released for the film 'Mirmire,' which stars Dayahang Rai, Sirjana Ninglekhu, and Prakash Saput in lead roles. The main actors of the film were featured in the posters.
Dayahang Rai and a child artist, as well as Prakash Saput, Sirjana Ninglekhu, and Shaisa Gauchan, were featured in the posters.
The film 'Mirmire' is set to be released on Magh 1. Presented by Yarsa Films, the cast includes Dayahang Rai, Prakash Saput, Sirjana Ninglekhu, Maotse Gurung, Chhulthim Gurung, Bholaraj Sapkota, Shaisa Gauchan, Dibisha Panta, Chirag Shrestha, and Namanraj Gajurel.
This marks the first collaboration between Dayahang and Prakash. However, this is Yam's second collaboration with Dayahang. Earlier, Dayahang was also in the lead role in Yam's directorial debut, 'Karsang.'
Yam himself has written the story, in addition to directing 'Mirmire.' The cinematographer for the film is Alok Shukla.
The producers of 'Mirmire' are Nimu Sherpa, Chhongba Lama Sherpa, and Angchhirin Sherpa, with Govinda Bohara and Sudip Kunwar as co-producers. The executive producer of the film is film distributor Rohit Kattel, who is also the owner of RR Films.
Birendra Shahi is the Line Producer for this film, with Sudip Kunwar as the Chief Assistant Director, Sanju Thalang Limbu on makeup, and Dilip Panta as the Production Controller.
The distribution of the film 'Mirmire' across the country has been undertaken by Rohit Kattel and Ratna Shrestha's RR Films.
