Tamang language film 'Hwang Tamang' to be screened in Kathmandu with a special show

Kathmandu. The highly anticipated Tamang language film 'Hwang Tamang (We Tamang)' is set to be screened through a special show targeting audiences in the capital. 

This film, which is the fourth presentation of Jimba Film Production, will have its special screening on Saturday, Poush 26, at the Film Development Board and Astanarayan Hall in Kathmandu. 

Directed by Nima Lama Tamang, the movie captures various aspects of the Tamang community's lifestyle, traditions, culture, struggles, and identity within its narrative. The production team stated that the film presents social reality, family relationships, and cultural depth in an interesting and emotional manner. 

The film features strong performances from over a dozen popular artists, including Jai Syangtan, Abhi Lama, Sitaram Gole, Anita Gole, Kalpana Waiba, Nirmala Moktan, Rajkumar Syangtan, Prabal Thing, Pooja Lama, Chandramaya Dong, Mangal Singh Gyaba, and Chhabilal Bomjan. Music, dance, and traditional Tamang cultural attire have made the film even more lifelike. 

According to the film's producer, Prabal Thing Tamang, 'Hwang Tamang' is a project prepared with the aim of establishing the potential, art, and stories of the Tamang language in the mainstream. It is mentioned that co-producer Karsang Lama Dong's team left no stone unturned to make the film high quality. 

Prepared so that it can be watched by both the Tamang community and speakers of other languages, the film features lyrics and music by Nima Lama Tamang and cinematography by Surya Lama. 

The production side has stated that following the special show, the film will proceed with its screening journey in major areas across the country where the Tamang community resides.hami-tamang-(1)-1767852209.JPG
