Ekta Poudel's Debut Film 'Harsha Released Nationwide Today

Ekta Poudel's debut directorial film, 'Harsh,' has been released nationwide starting today, Friday, Mangsir 12. 

The film, which received excellent feedback during its premiere, is also receiving positive reactions from the audience in the morning shows on Friday.

The film, which is being screened in about 100 shows across the country, is centered on a family story. 

At the premiere show held on Wednesday, director Poudel was delighted to receive feedback that 'Harsha had the flavor of director Shiva Regmi.

Director Poudel is the niece of the late director Shiva Regmi. 

Director Poudel, who studied filmmaking at the New York Film Academy and holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and a Master's degree in Management and Leadership, has previously produced several short films.

The film stars Khagendra and Barsha, along with Nir Shah, Santosh Panta, Sharmila Malla, Maotse Gurung, Bishal Pahadi, Nima Pandey, Lunibha Tuladhar, Anshu Maharjan, Renu Pradhan, Suwarna Thapa, Shristi Maharjan, Sirjana Napit, and child artist Simon Wadi.

The crew includes Alok Shukla for cinematography, music by Samir and Himal, Basanta Sapkota, and Alish Karki, editing by Lokesh Bajracharya, and choreography by Sunil Chhetri and director Poudel.

The story of the film, produced under the banner of Astalaxmi Productions and E-Prime Movies, is by director Poudel herself. 

Prasanna Poudel and Bikash Poudel are the producers, Hikmat Chokhal is the executive producer, Ishwor Ghimire is the production manager, and Kuldeep Sharma is the chief assistant director.
