Congratulations and Honors for Victorious Students at Gyanjyoti Vidhyakunja
Pokhara. A felicitation program was organized at Gyanjyoti Vidhyakunja Secondary School, located in Ward No. 32 of Pokhara Metropolitan City, Kaski.
The school organized a program on Sunday to congratulate and honor the students who clinched titles in various categories at the Second Grand Child Talent Identification Festival and Sports Competition – 2082, organized by National PABSON, Kaski.
The students from the school achieved the following victories: First Place in the Group Folk Dance competition, Third Place in Cricket, First Place in the Handicraft Competition (materials made from leaves) by Yugmaya Bishwakarma and Sophia Pun, Consolation Prize in the Handicraft Competition (materials made from bamboo splints) by Samir Nepali and Asim Nepali, and a Consolation Prize in the Solo Acting Competition by Jesika Gurung.
The victorious students were congratulated and honored with khada (a traditional ceremonial scarf) by the school's Founding Principal Arjun Prasad Adhikari, Academic Dean Tankaraj Subedi, and Founder Mitrabandhu Subedi. On the same occasion, the teachers and coaches related to the respective disciplines were also honored.
Founding Principal Arjun Prasad Adhikari informed that the students were congratulated and honored for enhancing the school's prestige by winning prizes in various categories during the competition. "We feel that the investment made to identify the various talents of the students has been successful," said Founding Principal Adhikari, "and in the coming days, we will continue to move forward by further polishing the students' talents."
The school expressed its heartfelt gratitude and thankfulness to the respective teachers, staff, coaches, dance directors, and parents for playing a significant role in this historical success.
A total of 1,500 students from 43 schools affiliated with N-PABSON Kaski competed in various categories during the competition.
The Child Talent Identification included Group Folk Dance, Solo Singing, Painting, Poetry Recitation, Acting, Science and Technology, Handicrafts (materials made from leaves, straw, and bamboo splints), and English Public Speaking competitions.
The Sports Competition featured Cricket for students in grades 1 to 10 and Futsal for students in grades 11 and 12.
