Gyanendra Shahi's Call to 'Gen Z' for Interim Constitution and Systemic Change

Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leader Gyanendra Shahi has called on the 'Gen Z' youth to abandon the ambition of forming political parties and winning seats, and instead pressure for an interim constitution to bring about fundamental change in the country.
He has urged the youth to pressure former Chief Justice and interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki to annul several important articles and structures of the current constitution.
Addressing the youth via Facebook, Shahi presented a 9-point 'ultimatum' to prevent the sacrifices of 75 people and the blood of thousands from going in vain. He argues that since the war was won on the streets but betrayed in the agreements, it is now necessary to take an alternative path.
Shahi's Nine-Point Demands (Agenda) for Dismantling the Current Constitution:
Shahi's key demands for Gen Z to pressure for an interim constitution through former PM Karki are:
Directly Elected Executive Prime Minister: Repeal Article 76 to abolish the current parliamentary Prime Ministerial system.
Abolition of Provincial Structure: Repeal Parts 13 to 16 to completely end the country's federal structure (provinces).
Non-Partisan Local Level: Repeal Parts 17 to 19 to end partisan politics in local level elections.
Stop Political Appointments in Constitutional Commissions: Repeal Article 284 to stop the system of quota-based appointments in bodies like the CIAA (Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority).
Abolish Candidate Age Limit: Repeal Article 87 to allow anyone over 18 years of age to be a candidate for the House of Representatives.
Common Institution for National Unity and Referendum: Repeal Part 6 to establish a common institution for national unity, followed by a referendum on its formation.
Harshest Punishment for the Corrupt: Write a new article in the constitution to ensure more stringent constitutional provisions for controlling corruption.
Stop Political Appointments in Judiciary: Repeal Article 153 to maintain the independence of the judiciary.
Abolish National Assembly: Repeal Article 86 to abolish the upper house of the Federal Parliament.
Shahi's 'Gen Z'-focused call suggests a strengthening voice for systemic change rather than merely defending the political achievements gained from recent movements.
