First Annual General Meeting of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association Chitwan-West Chitwan Unit No. 2 Concluded

Chitwan. The first annual general meeting of the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association Chitwan-West Chitwan Unit No. 2 was held on Monday.

The general meeting of the unit was completed under the chief hospitality of Hem Bahadur Bishwakarma, President of the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association Chitwan, and the special hospitality of Senior Vice President Utsav Khati B.K.

During the meeting, President Bishwakarma stated that since the district association is the guardian of gold and silver dealers throughout Chitwan, it will stand by everyone through good and bad times.

He mentioned that the luxury tax implemented by the government should be maintained as B2B (Business to Business) instead of B2C (Business to Consumer). 

He also said that the Federation must work towards implementing this change. Furthermore, he noted that the government has been causing trouble for businessmen under the excuse of the "grey list."

The program was chaired by Unit Coordinator Anish Bishwakarma. It was attended by Mohan Panthi, Second Vice President of the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association Chitwan; Mohan Kumar Ojha, Police In-charge of Parbatipur Bazaar; Deepak Bishwakarma, member of the association; Maina Century, President of the West Chitwan Gold and Silver Dealers Women’s Group; and Anju Sunar, Coordinator of West Chitwan Unit No. 1.

The progress report presented by Unit Secretary Subhash Bishwakarma and the financial report presented by Treasurer Kopila Barali were unanimously approved during the general meeting.

The general meeting also transformed the current temporary committee of the unit into a full permanent committee.
