'Gobar Ganesh' Trailer and Song Reach Million Views, Audience Says It Won Their Hearts

Kathmandu: The movie 'Gobar Ganesh,' starring and directed by popular comedian Marichman Shrestha (Balchhi Dhurbe), is creating a lot of buzz. Shortly after being released, the movie's trailer and the song 'O Hello Hi Hi' have both crossed a million views on YouTube and won the hearts of the audience.

The trailer, released on the OSR Digital YouTube channel, artistically shows the struggle of a village youth after moving to Kathmandu, along with stories of family and friendship. The emotional bond between a mother and son shown in the trailer, combined with the harsh reality of the city, has made many viewers emotional.

The song 'O Hello Hi Hi,' sung by Marichman Shrestha, has become very popular on TikTok and YouTube. Featuring Marichman Shrestha and Barsha Raut, this song has made audiences dance to its beat.

By the time this news was prepared, both the trailer and the song had crossed the million-view mark on YouTube, reflecting the audience's high excitement for the movie.

In the YouTube comment section, viewers are highly praising the movie's theme and the actors' performances. One viewer wrote, "The trailer touches the heart; it reflects the story of every youth who comes from a village to the city to struggle."

Produced by Balchhi Dhurbe Films, the movie stars Balchhi and Barsha Raut alongside Binod Neupane, Padam Tamang, Nirmal Sharma, Laxminath Timalsena, Santosh Baniya, Sandeep Lama, Maotse Gurung, Sita Devi Timalsina, Pujan Ghimire (Puku), Buddhi Tamang, Bishal Pahadi, Ramesh Budhathoki, and Swastika Lamichhane.

The story and direction are by Marichman Shrestha himself. This is his first time directing a feature film. After becoming popular through 'Meri Bassai,' he started directing his own TV shows. His TV shows 'Halka Ramailo' and 'Juthe' are very popular among audiences.

With cinematography by Shivaram Shrestha and editing by Bipin Malla, the movie is set to release in theaters across the country on Magh 1 (Maghe Sankranti). Sri Byaktesh Entertainment will distribute the film in Nepal.
