Balchi Dhurve’s “Gobar Ganesh” Hits Theaters

Kathmandu. The movie 'Gobar Ganesh,' directed by Balchhi Dhurbe (Marichman Shrestha), has been released today. 'Gobar Ganesh' premiered today, taking advantage of the Maghe Sankranti holiday.

Raising social themes, the movie 'Gobar Ganesh' attempts to tell the story of the Kathmandu dreams of common citizens. The story of what happens when the dream of living a life of luxury in Kathmandu is not fulfilled can be seen in 'Gobar Ganesh.'

With a runtime of 140 minutes, the movie has secured 112 shows nationwide.

Produced under Balchhi Dhurbe Films, the movie features performances by Balchhi along with Barsha Siwakoti, Binod Neupane, Padam Tamang, Nirmal Sharma, Laxminath Timalsena, Santosh Baniya, Sandeep Lama, Maotse Gurung, Sitadevi Timalsina, Pujan Ghimire (Puku), Buddhi Tamang, Bishal Pahadi, Ramesh Budhathoki, Swastika Lamichhane, and other artists.

The movie, with Taranath Neupane as Chief Assistant Director, features background music by Yogesh Kaji Shah, production by Shankar Pandey, cinematography by Shivaram Shrestha, and editing by Bipin Malla.

The publicity design is by Tauwa Studio, and OSR Digital is the digital partner. In Nepal, the movie will be distributed by Shree Backtesh Entertainment.

The trailer for 'Gobar Ganesh' had reached number one on YouTube trending after a long time. The production team expects that the same popularity and trust will translate into the theaters.
