Gandaki Province to Host Agricultural Teej Song Competition on Bhadra 5
Pokhara: The Gandaki Province-level Agricultural Teej Song Competition, organized by Apollo Paints Pigeons, will be held on Bhadra 5 at the Pokhara Industry and Commerce Association Hall. The event is conducted by Public Fork Television in coordination with the Provincial Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management, and Cooperatives. This year marks the eighth edition of the competition.
Groups selected by the Agricultural Knowledge Centers from nine districts of the province will compete, according to competition coordinator Ghanshyam Pandey. All districts except Manang and Mustang will participate.
The winning group will receive Rs. 55,555 along with a certificate. The second-place group will get Rs. 33,333, the third-place group Rs. 22,222, and a consolation prize of Rs. 11,111 will also be awarded. Three participants with the best dance performances will receive attractive sarees, and the group with the best costumes will be given special prizes.
The competition will feature performances by popular artists Raju Pariyar, Prajapati Parajuli, Sushila Gautam, Rajan Karki, and Sarla Pandey. Entry to the event is free.
