First Song of Movie 'Buki' Released, Featuring Devendra and Roshni's Romantic Emotions
The first song of the movie 'Buki', directed by Bibash Kumar Majhi and Mohan KC, has been released. On Tuesday, the production team made public the song titled 'Timi Mai Sanga Bhai Rakha Hai'.
The music video features popular singer and actor Devendra Bablu alongside actress Roshni Karki. Their chemistry appears well-matched in the video. Centered on a story of love and travel, the song artistically presents the intimacy and emotional connection between the two characters.
The song features lyrics and vocals by Devendra Bablu himself, with melodious music composed by Deepak Sharma and HBN Kismat.
At the beginning of the video, the lead character played by Devendra Bablu is seen looking at his old medals and photographs, appearing lost in memories of past success or love. As the video progresses, a romantic journey between Devendra and Roshni Karki unfolds.
The nostalgia shown at the start and the emotional separation or pain depicted at the end leaves the audience wondering: are these all just old memories? Roshni's scene of sobbing and Devendra’s silence make the video quite powerful.
The video beautifully captures Baglung's Dhorpatan and surrounding areas. Road trips, snow-capped mountains, and local village settlements make the video feel as vibrant as a travel vlog. The use of drone shots excellently presents the vastness of Nepal's Himalayan region.
While singer Devendra Bablu is already known for his vocals, his acting in this video appears very mature. His pairing with actress Roshni Karki looks natural, giving their relationship a modern and romantic touch. The happiness shown in small moments and the crying at the end touch the hearts of the audience.
This first song from 'Buki' clarifies that the movie is based on a serious and emotional love story.
Presented by 'Himalayan Musical Event Management and Films', 'Buki' stars Surakshya Panta, Devendra Bablu, and Roshni Karki in lead roles, with performances by Prakash Ghimire, Laxminath Timalsina, Dhanu Joshi, Anu Dahal, Sandeep Babu Lohani, Nisha Bajgain, and others.
The film was shot in scenic locations including Kathmandu, Pokhara, and especially Dhorpatan in Baglung.
The movie is produced by Laxman Sapkota, Amisha Thapa Kaucha, and Ramesh Thapa, with Prakash Ale and Rajan KC serving as executive producers. Rajesh Thapa and Basundhara Kharel are the creative producers, while Jitu Thapa and Sunil Budhathoki are co-producers.
The film features Ashuka Aryal as associate director, Acharya Gopal as chief assistant director, and Tigris, Nisha Dahal, and Ujwal Adhikari as assistant directors.
The cinematography (DOP) is handled by Bikas Gandarbha, and the film is edited by Bhupendra Adhikari.
