Filming of 'Mitjyu' Begins, Set for Release on Jeth 15

Filming has officially started for 'Mitjyu', the second film directed by Anil Budha Magar, who previously directed the movie 'Gharjwai'. The production team announced that filming formally commenced following a traditional inauguration ceremony held at the Ambikeshwari Temple in Dang on the occasion of Basanta Panchami.

The film's journey began with the filming of the first scene after performing religious rituals. According to producer Janak Gharti Magar, 'Mitjyu' is a film based on a social story, and it will be shot in various locations across Dang and Rolpa.

The movie features a cast including Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, Teria Fauja Magar, Pushkar Gurung, Shishir Wangdel, Raj Thapa, Subarna Thapa, Anu Thapa, Smita Lamichhane, Arun Pun Magar, Uttam Raj Pandey, Sabin Kattel, Umesh Sonam, Pabitra Khadka, Chahana Rana Magar, Anusha Rai, and Khadga Bahadur Pun Magar (Khabapu).

Firoz Khadka serves as the chief assistant director, while Anil Dahal, Sanju Nepali, and Elmina Rai are assistant directors. The technical team includes production designer Kishor Nepal, dress designer Sangita Roka Magar, editor Lokesh Bajracharya, cinematographer Shishir Sishankhel, conflict director Prabhat Bista, and sound designer Nabin Shrestha. The music will be composed by Shree Krishna Bam Malla.

The production side has stated that the film, distributed by RR Films, is scheduled to be released on the upcoming Jeth 15 in celebration of Republic Day.mitjyu-(2)-1769153654.jpg
