Film ‘Mirmire’ Completes Shooting in 35 Days, Set for Release on Magh 1
Kathmandu – The shooting of the film Mirmire, directed by Yam Sherpa, has been completed. The filming wrapped up in just 35 days.
Most of the scenes were shot in various locations of Kavre and in Chitlang, Makwanpur. Only one song is left to be filmed. Director Sherpa said, “We will shoot the remaining song when the time is favorable.”
Mirmire is scheduled to release on Magh 1. The production team announced the release date a few days ago on the occasion of actress Sirjana Ninglekhu’s birthday.
Presented by Yarsa Films, the movie stars Dayahang Rai, Prakash Saput, and Sirjana Ninglekhu in lead roles. Other cast members include Maotse Gurung, Chhulthim Gurung, and Bhola Raj Sapkota. Child actors in the film are Shaisa Gauchan, Dibisha Panta, Chirag Shrestha, and Namanraj Gajurel.
Along with directing, Yam Sherpa has also written the story of the film. The cinematography has been done by Alok Shukla.
The producers of Mirmire are Nimu Sherpa, Chhomba Lama Sherpa, and Angchhiring Sherpa. Co-producers are Govinda Bohara and Sudip Kunwar. The line producer is Birendra Shahi, while the executive producer is Rohit Kattel, director of RR Films and a film distributor.
Sudip Kunwar has worked as the chief assistant director, Sanju Thalang Limbu as the makeup artist, and Dilip Panta as the production controller.
The nationwide distribution rights of the film have been acquired by RR Films, owned by Rohit Kattel and Ratna Shrestha.
