Emotional Dohori Dedicated to the Martyrs of the Zen Z Movement
Kathmandu – A special live dohori performance dedicated to the martyrs of the Zen Z movement has deeply moved Nepali audiences both in the country and abroad. The song, titled “A Dohori That Makes the World Cry About the Zen Z Movement – Martyrs of the Movement”, was performed by popular singers Suman Pariyar and Rejina Pariyar, and has quickly gained widespread attention.
Broadcast through Suman Pariyar’s official YouTube channel, the video has garnered over 24,000 views within 23 hours of its premiere. The song is a tribute to the memory of the 72 youths who lost their lives during the Zen Z protests on Bhadra 23–24 (September 8–9).
The dohori was recorded at Galbandi Studio, Samakhusi, Kathmandu, with music arranged by the Galbandi Studio team. The camerawork was handled by Amish Uparkoti and Prem Aryal, editing by Sajan Kunwar, and audio mixing by Prem Aryal.
Viewers have left emotional comments on YouTube, expressing their condolences and solidarity with the families of the fallen youths. The singers have also urged the public to continue supporting such tributes by liking, sharing, and subscribing to the channel.
