Foundation for World-Building Laid by 'Eklo-1', Preparations Underway for 'Eklo-II

Kathmandu. The highly anticipated Nepali film 'Eklo-1', which has been garnering attention for its unique genre and fresh presentation, is entering its second week of screening. Based on a story of a post-apocalyptic Nepal in the future, this film marks the beginning of a new experiment in the Nepali cinema industry.

Diversity in Reviews: Director Urges Audience to Form Their Own Opinions The film's director, Pradeep Shahi, has taken the mixed reactions to the film in stride. Sharing his thoughts via social media, he stated, "Some found this film very complex, while others found it explanatory.

However, the beauty lies in the diversity of people's opinions. Since negativity spreads quickly these days, I urge everyone to watch the film and form their own opinion rather than following what others say."

According to Director Shahi, 'Eklo-1' serves as a foundation for world-building, which will create a strong base for its second part, 'Eklo-II: The Rise of Kalki'.

Regarding the audience's enthusiasm seen during theater visits, Shahi added, "I am happy to see young people hooting during the final scene and discussing the 'Eklo-verse' after the movie. The film is gradually finding its domestic audience."

Taking audience suggestions into account, the production team has corrected some minor technical errors in the film. A new file featuring re-dubbing and Nepali subtitles is currently being screened in theaters, which is believed to make it even easier for the audience to understand the film. A new song included in the movie, 'The Rise of Kalki', has also been released.

'Eklo' in the International Market

Featuring performances from veteran actors including Pradeep Khadka, Vijay Lama, Sunil Thapa, Diya Pun, and Benisha Hamal, the film is being released in various countries across the world starting this week.

Produced with investment from the NRN group and executive production by Binod Subedi 'Kshitiz', the film is expected to establish an identity for Nepali cinema at the international level as well.eklo-in-second-week-(2)-1767857611.jpg
