Announcement of Dipasha B.C. Memorial Award and Chhayanachhabi Teej Women’s Honor

Kathmandu – On the occasion of the 12th edition of the Chhayanachhabi Teej Music Award 2082, organized by Chhayanachhabi Creation, the Dipasha Memorial Award, established last year in memory of the popular late model Dipasha B.C., has been announced for this year as well. 

The Chhayanachhabi Dipasha Memorial Award, which includes a cash prize of NPR 11,001, a certificate, and a shawl, will be presented this year to the popular model and music video artist Sanchita Shahil. Last year, the award was given to the popular model and artist Anju Niraula.

Similarly, at the 12th Chhayanachhabi Teej Music Award 2082, the Chhayanachhabi Teej Women’s Honor will be awarded to singer Geeta Bhattarai, singer and actress Sarika Ghimire, singer Anju Shrestha, beauty expert Sangita Rana Magar, and Apsana Newa Hayu.

Additionally, the Teej Women’s Diaspora Honor will also be presented this year. This honor will be given to singer Sushila Basnet Timilsina, a resident of Boston, USA. According to Shantipriya, President of Chhayanachhabi Creation, such awards are given to recognize individuals for their distinguished contributions in their respective fields.

Chhayanachhabi Creation, which has long been active in promoting Nepali cinema and music, has been honoring, encouraging, and supporting both new and established artists working in the Nepali entertainment industry. The program is scheduled to be held on Bhadra 6 at Levi’s Garden, Kathmandu.
