Prabhakar Releases 'Dhoka', a Sad Song About Love and Heartbreak

KATHMANDU: Prabhakar Dev Sharma is a senior artist in the Nepali art world. Not many people know that besides being a writer and director, he is also a songwriter, singer, and musician.

He releases new songs from time to time. Recently, he released a song called ‘Dhoka’ (Betrayal). He wrote the lyrics, composed the music, and sang it himself. This song is for people who have faced failure in love. The music was arranged by Suyog Sotang.

The song is a "sad version" that talks about the pain of breaking up. Sharma has also added some drama to the song. A beautiful music video has been made for it. The video tells the story of a boy from a simple family. After being in love for ten years, his girlfriend leaves him because he is poor and because her parents pressured her. The video is different and very touching.

In the video, Ayusha Karki and Siddhartha Silwal play the couple. Other actors like Madan Thapa, Subash Chandra Silwal, and Sital Thakuri are also in it. Sharma directed the video himself. It was filmed by Bishal KC and Bullet, and edited by Bishal KC and Dil Shripal. Video is Published Via "Hills Home Theater and Production" YouTube channel.

Sharma has released many songs before this. Some of his famous songs include "Ma Pagal Sari Timilai Maya Garirahanchhu" and "Aaja Malai Kohi Naroka". He also wrote the words for the famous national song "Ghar Hamro Nepal, Jaat Hamro Nepali". Sharma has been working in the arts for 40 years and is now getting ready to direct a movie.
