Arzu Rana Deuba Denies Claims of Burnt Banknotes on her house During Gen Z Protest
Nepali Congress leader and former Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba has stated that the banknotes did not burn when her house was set on fire during the Gen Z movement. Leader Arzu gave a written response, claiming that rumours were spread that cash in her house was burnt during the arson attack at her Budhanilkantha residence.
Arzu filed a written response at the Supreme Court regarding the case against her, claiming that the rumours spread on various media and social networks were false. A writ petition was filed in the Supreme Court demanding action against Arzu Rana Deuba, who is also a member of the National Security Council, and others, arguing that their failure to call a meeting and deploy the army in time led to loss of life and property.
Previously, during a meeting of the Nepali Congress Central Committee, Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba had also claimed that the money allegedly found at his house was created using AI technology.
