Dalit Sanjal Concludes Stress Management Training
Pokhara. A two-day stress management training and internal tourism promotion program, organized by the Ward-level Dalit Sanjal in collaboration with Pokhara Metropolitan City Ward No. 9, has concluded in Tangting village, Madi.
The participants included officials and members affiliated with the Dalit Network, people's representatives such as Pokhara Metropolitan City Ward No. 9 Ward Chairman Dipendra Marsani, Ward Members Gita Chamrakar and Nandaram Giri, Chairman of the Ward Coordination Committee of the Tole Development Organization Uttam Joshi, and President of the Independent Journalists' Association Nepal Kaski Branch, Krishna Ranabhat, among others.
The training was facilitated by instructor Bhaktaraj Rasaili. He stated that the Nepali proverb, "Worry leads to the pyre," is true, emphasizing the importance of everyone having good knowledge about stress. He discussed various ways to manage stress once it is understood.
The program, chaired by Sapana BK, President of the Ward-level Dalit Network Pokhara 9, saw the Program Coordinator and Ward Member Gita Chamrakar shed light on the program. The welcome address was given by Vice-President Rukbir Pariyar, and the event was conducted by Bimala Pariyar.
On the same occasion, the group visited tourist sites in the scenic Tangting village of Madi Rural Municipality Ward No. 2, including waterfalls, monasteries, and a 'selfie dada'.
Additionally, some members trekked 11 km from the village to observe Kaprudanda, located at an altitude of 3,100 meters.
