The Times International College and OneCover Partner to Produce Cyber Security Experts
The Times International College and OneCover Private Limited have signed an agreement to prioritize cyber security education and produce skilled manpower in Nepal. This strategic partnership, signed on Monday in Kathmandu, is considered a major milestone in combining technical expertise with academic excellence.
The goal is to create cyber security experts by using the technical skills of OneCover, a leader in security solutions and consulting, while providing students with practical skills relevant to the industry.
During the event, Sujan Aryal, Executive Chairman of The Times International College, emphasized the college's commitment to providing high-quality technical education. He stated that this partnership acts as a bridge between classroom theories and the practical demands of the global tech industry.
Chiranjibi Adhikari, CEO of OneCover Private Limited, highlighted the importance of early exposure to security practices. He explained that the goal is to protect the future of Nepal's digital infrastructure by giving students hands-on knowledge of cyber security.
The agreement is set for an initial period of three years. Both organizations have committed to working together on joint research and development projects to address modern threats, such as AI-driven cyber attacks and data privacy challenges within the context of Nepal.
