CNIYEF Lumbini Completes Industrial Visit Program in Rupandehi and Nawalparasi

Butwal – The Confederation of Nepalese Industries Young Entrepreneurs Forum (CNIYEF) Lumbini has successfully conducted an industrial visit to key manufacturing units in Rupandehi and Nawalparasi districts. The program aimed to provide young entrepreneurs with firsthand insights into industrial operations, management styles, and business challenges.
Coordinated by Suraj Upreti and led by CNIYEF Lumbini President Rajan Kasaju, the visit saw the participation of more than 30 emerging entrepreneurs. The team visited KPI Helmet Industry located in Gangoliya, Tilottama-17, and Asian Concreto in Ramgram Municipality, Nawalparasi.
During the visit, Seema Basyal Pandey, Director of KPI Helmet, shared in-depth information on the production process, operational practices, and business hurdles faced by the company. She emphasized that KPI Helmet, established in 2016 (2073 BS), is one of Nepal’s leading high-quality helmet manufacturers and plays a vital role in import substitution and job creation within the country. She further noted that the company plans to explore export opportunities in the near future. Kohinoor was mentioned as Nepal’s first helmet manufacturing company.
Likewise, Asian Concreto’s Vice President Shyamlal Jha briefed the participants on the current status, production, and expansion plans of their company. Highlighting its notable contribution to major construction projects in Nepal, he shared that demand for their products is also rapidly increasing in neighboring Indian states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. He attributed the company’s growing success to its commitment to quality, timely supply, and competitive pricing strategies.
President Rajan Kasaju described the industrial visit as highly informative and inspiring. “Experiencing the local production process and understanding the challenges firsthand will help foster long-term partnerships, business learning, and market expansion opportunities,” he said. He also affirmed that such exposure programs enable young entrepreneurs to engage directly with industrial leaders and adopt innovative ideas, ultimately contributing to Nepal’s industrial ecosystem.
CNIYEF Lumbini has announced its plan to continue organizing similar visits in the future to further strengthen entrepreneurial development and industry engagement.
