Filming of Saugat and Simran's ‘Bob Dai’ Concludes

Kathmandu.The filming of the movie ‘Bob Dai’, starring Saugat Malla and Simran Panta in lead roles, has concluded on its 42nd day. Director Prabin Shrestha informed that the entire filming was completed within locations in Kathmandu's Chandragiri and Kirtipur Municipality. 

According to Pravin, the production team has now moved into post-production. Director Shrestha stated that filming for all scenes in the script has been completed, except for two songs. The songs will be filmed in a few weeks.

Produced by Roteping Entertainment in collaboration with Shreeram Balaji Films, this movie tells the story of a youth from Kirtipur. Actor Saugat plays the role of Bob Dai. 

According to Director Shrestha, the movie is titled Bob Dai because "Dai" (brother) is pronounced as "Dai" in the Newari language. The film is made in the comedy genre. However, Director Shrestha mentions that many things can be found in the movie along with the comedy.

In addition to Saugat and Simran, the movie features performances by Santosh Panta, Bishal Pahadi, Pramod Agrahari, Kameshwor Chaurasiya, Kushal Pokharel, Yaman Shrestha, Krishna Bhakta Maharjan, Geeta Adhikari, Bhintuna Joshi, Nitesh Tandukar, Manoj Maharjan, Kamal Devkota, Uttam Raj Pandey, Rajin Maharjan, Manoj Maharjan, and child artist Agrim Pandit.

The film's story is written by Manisha Gauchan and Pravin Shrestha. The associate director of the film is Dinesh Bahadur Raut, while the chief assistant director is Tarka Raj Neupane.

The movie is being shot by Shyam Tamang’s team and will be edited by director Pravin Shrestha himself. The production head and casting director of the film is Nripesh Rupakheti. The poster design is by Royal Bhimsen.

The film, featuring makeup by Swastika Shrestha, has choreography by Kiran Thapa and Srishti Maharjan. The action is by Shankar Maharjan, while the art director is Ghanshyam Shrestha. 

Rajesh Ghimire, Roshan Bhattarai, and Sunil Manandhar are the producers, and Rabindra Prajapati is the executive producer. The release date of the film has not been fixed.
