Balen Government Unveils 100-Point Reform Roadmap
Kathmandu. The new government led by Balendra Shah (Balen) has released a list of 100 agendas for governance reform. The first meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Friday decided to approve this agenda.
Within a week, the government will form a high-level investigation committee to find the facts regarding the incidents that occurred on September 9 during the Gen Z movement. The government's decision mandates the committee to collect and analyze all details regarding the incident, identify the responsible parties, and submit a report within a specified timeframe.
Similarly, the government has decided to remove the structures of partisan student organizations within school and university premises to keep the education sector completely free from partisan politics. The government made this decision with the aim of ending political interference in educational institutions and giving space to the actual voices of students.
