Babina Sings Krishna Bhajan on Krishna Ashtami (Video Included)
Kathmandu: On Bhadra Krishna Ashtami, devotees celebrate Krishna Janmashtami, marking the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Bishnu. Krishna’s childhood pastimes in Mathura and his teachings in the Mahabharata inspire devotion among Hindus.
Krishna bhajans purify the mind and immerse devotees in spiritual love. Collective singing multiplies energy, bringing peace, joy, and spiritual merit.
The newly released bhajan “Hare Krishna”, available on Shree Bhajan YouTube channel, features music by Babina Bhattarai, vocals by Babina and Baikuntha Pradhan, lyrics by Uttam ‘Bichar’ Bhetwal, and arrangement by Binod Kumar Bhujel. The video, directed by A.J. Aju, shows Babina fully immersed in devotion, with editing by Anil Bista Pyuthani.
Babina shares that singing bhajans makes her feel as Radha beside Krishna, deeply connected to the divine. Uttam Bhetwal says releasing this bhajan was a milestone in his writing career, brought to life by Babina’s soulful voice. Babina has previously sung devotional bhajans, including Shiva Tandav, contributing significantly to Nepali spiritual music and plans to continue spreading devotion through her songs.
