Leader Ale Intensifies Electoral Campaign in Kailali-5
As the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5 approaches, the electoral atmosphere in Kailali constituency No. 5 has heated up significantly. In this context, Prem Bahadur Ale, the candidate from the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), has intensified his election campaign.
Leader Ale, who is also a former Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, has been soliciting votes with a development agenda while collecting grievances, problems, and suggestions from local residents through door-to-door programs.
During the door-to-door program on Sunday, he reached out to various neighborhoods to meet local residents directly. He mentioned that he is a leader who has proven himself through work in the past and expressed his commitment to fulfilling the promises made to the people.
He said, "Reaching the doorsteps of the people to listen to their problems is my primary responsibility. Winning the election is not the only goal; maintaining public trust is a greater responsibility. I will fulfill the promises I have made to the people."
Similarly, he stated that his main agendas include the upgrading of Geta Airport in Dhangadhi, the upgrading of Seti Provincial Hospital, the operation of MBBS studies at Geta Medical College, the construction of the Khutiya-Bipinagar-Dipayal-Bajhang-Urai Taklakot road, agricultural modernization, tourism promotion, and the development of education.
Leader Ale has priorotized local infrastructure development, agricultural modernization, women's empowerment, youth self-employment, and the promotion of entrepreneurship. He stated that he would take the necessary initiatives to provide land ownership certificates to the people of Kailali-5 who have been utilizing their land for a long time but have not yet received them.
While understanding the condition of the people by reaching various neighborhoods during the door-to-door program, Leader Ale expressed his commitment to prioritizing and resolving issues raised by locals regarding land ownership certificates, drinking water, road upgrading, drainage, heath services, and employment. He mentioned that representatives reaching the homes of the people to listen to their problems is a strong aspect of democratic practice.
Local residents raised grievances regarding the lack of land ownership certificates for people living near Geta Airport, the dilapidated condition of roads, problems with waterlogging during floods, and the lack of employment opportunities for the youth.
Additionally, demands were made for the upgrading of health posts in the neighborhoods, the construction of community buildings, and the development of organized market infrastructure.
Assuring that all these demands would be addressed in a planned manner, Leader Ale stated that he would accelerate development work by coordinating between the federal, provincial, and local levels.
He said, "Reaching the doorsteps of the people to listen to their problems and find a path to resolution is my primary responsibility. Winning the election is not the only goal; maintaining public trust is a greater responsibility. I will leave no stone unturned to solve the problems of the people here. I will provide the solutions."
Leader Ale also discussed the potential of developing the Geta Airport area as a hub for economic and tourism development.
