Farmers, Workers, and Squatters Are the Core Classes of the Party and Revolution: Agni Prasad Sapkota
Kathmandu – Agni Prasad Sapkota, Vice-Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre) and former Speaker, has stated that farmers, workers, and squatters are the core classes of the party and revolution, and the party has continuously raised its voice in their favor.
Addressing the meeting of the Class Organization Coordination Committee held today at the party’s central office in Parisdanda, Sapkota said, “Since farmers, workers, and squatters are the fundamental classes of our party and revolution, the All Nepal Farmers’ Association (Revolutionary Centre), the All Nepal Trade Union Federation, and the All Nepal Squatters’ Association are the most important organizations representing these core classes.”
He added that the recently concluded meeting of the party’s Standing Committee established unprecedented unity, resolved public confusion caused by internal debates, and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to move forward with strengthened unity.
At the meeting, in-charges and presidents of all three organizations reported on their organizational status, political and ideological aspects, issues faced by their respective classes, solutions, and preparations for joint fronts and struggles.
Sapkota directed the leaders to strengthen organizational development and transformation while firmly defending the rights, interests, and entitlements of the people. Chitra Bahadur Shrestha, President of the All Nepal Farmers’ Association (Revolutionary Centre), stated that the meeting made important decisions regarding the mobilization and strengthening of farmers’, workers’, and squatters’ organizations.
