'Abhimanyu' Receives Good Reviews from the Audience

Kathmandu. The film 'Abhimanyu: Chapter 1' has received good reviews from the audience. Viewers reviewing the film, which was released on Thursday, say it is a mirror of Nepali society.

Audiences have reacted positively, stating that the film's depiction of the dowry system prevalent in the Terai-Madhesh region and the horrific situation it creates is a positive aspect. 

Viewers said that by showing the terrible circumstances created by the dowry system, and the story moving towards Nepali society's narrative, the film has become worth watching.

"The way the film's heroine is shown to gradually move forward is what contemporary Nepali society is like," said a viewer who went to the hall to watch the film. "Women in today's society have also started walking that path. By showing the story of our own society, the one we are seeing, we felt a sense of relatability."

The audience, saying the film 'hit them right in the heart,' also mentioned that they would quickly take their friends and relatives to see 'Abhimanyu'. 

Viewers who have seen the cinema have urged everyone to watch 'Abhimanyu'. "Everyone should watch it. It contains the story of our own society. It is a story we can relate to," said a viewer. "Many will even relate it to themselves."

'Abhimanyu: Chapter 1,' which opened on Thursday, stars Kameshwore Chaurasiya and Laxmi Bardewa in lead roles. The cast includes artists like Kiran Shrestha, Gaumaya Gurung, Laxmi Giri, Prakash Dahal, and Shishir Bangdel. Rekha Thapa is also in a guest role.

Sushant Gautam directed 'Abhimanyu,' and Madan Thapa is the creative director. The screenplay for this film was written by Mukesh Khanal.

The producers of 'Abhimanyu: Chapter 1' are Binod Paudel and Gunjan Giri. Ramesh Chaulagain and Hari Shrestha are co-producers, and the executive producers are Vishal Lama, Hari Moktan, Krishna Bhattarai, Nirajan Luistel, and Sandesh Shrestha. Jeevan Shakya serves as the film's line producer.
