'Abhimanyu' in Theaters Starting Today; Production Team Confident That Audiences Will Like It

Kathmandu. The film 'Abhimanyu: Chapter 1' has been released starting today. Taking advantage of the holiday for the Udhauli festival, the film was released today (Thursday).

Kameshwor Chaurasia and Laxmi Bardewa are in the main roles in the film. 'Abhimanyu: Chapter 1' has received a satisfactory number of shows in most multiplexes.

Those who attended the premiere on Monday gave positive feedback, stating that the film is good. The production side is expecting positive word-of-mouth from the audience, similar to the feedback received at the premiere.

Since the film's subject matter, making, presentation, and acting have been praised by filmmakers and artists, the cast is also confident that the audience will like the cinema.

"We showed the cinema to some filmmakers, artists, and journalists. They praised it immensely," says Kameshwor. "Therefore, we are confident that the audience will also like it. We will take whatever feedback the audience gives us as suggestions and move forward."

Sushant Gautam directed 'Abhimanyu,' and Madan Thapa is the Creative Director. Mukesh Khanal wrote the screenplay for the film. Along with Kameshwor and Laxmi, the cast includes Kiran Shrestha, Gaumaya Gurung, Laxmi Giri, Prakash Dahal, Shishir Bangdel, and others. Rekha Thapa also has a guest role.

The producers of 'Abhimanyu: Chapter 1' are Binod Paudel and Gunjan Giri. Ramesh Chaulagain and Hari Shrestha are co-producers, while Bishal Lama, Hari Moktan, Krishna Bhattarai, Nirajan Luintel, and Sandesh Shrestha are the executive producers. Jivan Shakya is the Line Producer of the cinema.

Sharad Mahato is the DOP (Director of Photography) for the film, Manoj Shrestha handled the VFX, Junim Gahataraj did the color grading, and Madan Ghimire is the editor.

The film has been released in both Nepali and Hindi languages across Nepal and globally.
