Lyricist Adarsha Pokharel's 'Aauchhau Timi Nazar Ma' Music Video Released in Pokhara

Pokhara. The music video for lyricist Adarsha Pokharel's new song, ‘Aauchhau Timi Nazar Ma...’ was released on Saturday.

The video was made public by Padma Raj Dhakal, Founding Chancellor of the Pokhara Pragya Pratisthan (Pokhara Academy), at an event jointly organized by the Geetkar Pratisthan (Lyricist Academy) and the Rupa Wangmaya Pratisthan (Rupa Literary Academy).

Dhakal shared his experience of people not recognizing him as a lyricist even when welcoming himself to his own song, stating his opinion that it is sad for the lyricist to remain in the shadow despite being the mother of the song.

Stating that the role of everyone, starting from the lyricist to the entire production side, is important for a beautiful song to be made, he emphasized that everyone’s role must be respected. Dhakal said he was impressed by Adarsha's lyricism.

At the program chaired by Anurag Adhikari, President of the Geetkar Pratisthan, Adarsha Pokharel, who is also the President of the Rupa Wangmaya Pratisthan, shared his experience from the songwriting to the video production of the song ‘Aauchhau Timi Nazar Ma...’

Pokharel, who recorded his first song ‘Jitma Pani Haar Ma Jhai Pitdai Chhan Re Tali...’ a decade ago, has approximately 1 dozen songs recorded.

The song features the voices of Santosh B.K. and Manisha Rai, with music also composed by Adarsha Pokharel himself. The video stars Swastika Shrestha, Jiwan Sunar, Bhuwan B.K., Jamuna Paudel Baral, and others. The video was directed by Ram Bastola.

Harihar Khaniya (Founding President of Geetkar Pratisthan), Tara Bahadur Gurung (Gurung film actor), Binod Baniya (singer), Narayan Sapkota (Officer at Pokhara University), and others offered their best wishes at the program.
