'Aau Yasto Desh Banaun' from the movie 'Bigul', featuring lyrics and music by Congress General Secretary Sharma, Released

Kathmandu, December 28.The song 'Aau Yasto Desh Banaun' (Come, let’s build a country like this) from the movie 'Bigul' was released on Sunday. 

Sung by Rajesh Payal Rai, the song features lyrics and music composed by Bishwa Prakash Sharma, the General Secretary of the Nepali Congress. All the lead actors of the film are featured in the music video.

Directed by Ramesh Koirala and produced/written by Dinesh Koirala, 'Bigul' is set to be released nationwide on Magh 9. Released via OSR Digital, the song conveys messages of patriotism, national devotion, inclusivity, peace, and public awareness. 

It depicts actors engaging in a door-to-door awareness campaign with the national flag, spreading messages of good governance, development, and peace.

As the song was released while the country is heading toward general elections, it reflects the electoral atmosphere. Presented by Kalpana Paudel, the film’s first-look poster, teaser, and duet song have already won the hearts of audiences and listeners. The production team claims the song echoes the voice of the common people.

"'Bigul' is a film that calls for the story of the grassroots people and the vision of a prosperous Nepal," says director Koirala. "Although the plot is based on contemporary events and political subjects, we have produced it with a purely commercial objective. We have presented full entertainment alongside a message of social awakening."

Dedicated to the 'Gen Z' movement, the film stars Benisha Hamal, Naren Khadka, Ramesh Budhathoki, Neer Shah, Saroj Khanal, Hemant Budhathoki, Shishir Wangdel, Binod Neupane, JN Ghimire, Geeta Adhikari, Meera Pandit, Manshree Sharma, and others. 

Produced under the banner of Magnolia Group with Mahesh Koirala and Suryakant Koirala as co-producers, the screenplay and dialogues are written by Pradeep Bhardwaj and Maunata Shrestha.

The film features cinematography by Shiva Dhakal, choreography by Kamal Rai and Kabiraj Gahatraj, action direction by NB Maharjan, and music by Bishwa Prakash Sharma, Arjun Pokharel, and Manoj Chaulagain. 

It is edited by Tara Thapa ‘Kimbe’. The film is being distributed by Kafiya Films inside the Kathmandu Valley and by Shree Banquets Entertainment in other regions.
