Hero Pal Shah’s Growing International Craze: ‘Aa Bataa Aama’ Japan Rights Sold
The Japan distribution rights for the film Aa Bataa Aama, directed by Chandra Panta, have been sold. The rights were purchased by Om Shanti Om Entertainment, which will distribute the film in Japan.
According to the production team, a formal agreement was signed between Om Shanti Om Entertainment’s head, Ishwar Shrestha, and the film’s producers. Director Chandra Panta confirmed that the Japan rights have been sold for screening.
He also stated that the film’s screening rights had already been sold to countries including Australia, New Zealand, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Israel. The demand for screening rights in other countries has also started increasing.
Produced under Arya Entertainment, the film has seen high demand in other countries following the release of its teaser and songs, the production team stated.
The film, based on a story and screenplay by director Pant himself, stars Bipana Thapa, Pal Shah, Pradeep Rawat, Usha Upreti, Simran Panta, Saigres Pokharel, Gajit Bishta, Begum Nepali, among others, in lead roles. RR Films is handling the distribution of the movie.
The dialogues, written by Abhimanyu Nirvi, were a collaborative effort between Amar Nyaupane, Abhimanyu Nirvi, and Chandra Pant. Nawaraj Upreti is the DOP, while the music has been composed by Kosish Kshetri, Babul Giri, and Thaneswar Gautam. The choreography is by Gambhir Bishta and Dilip Okhade.
The film’s investors include Krishna Prasad Subedi, Omkar Pant, Prakash Jung Kunwar, Dhruv Prasad Nyaupane, and Kshitij Dhungana. The executive producer is Karan Singh Rasali. The film’s trailer and teaser were edited by Sahil Khan.
Aa Bataa Aama is set to release on Magh 16.
