‘Aa Bata Aama’ Receives Universal Certificate, Accessible to Audiences of All Ages

The film ‘Aa Bata Aama,’ scheduled for release on Magh 16, has passed the censor board. On Monday, the Central Film Censor Committee granted the film a Universal (U) certificate.

With this certification, the film is now open to audiences of all ages. Following the censor approval, Director Chandra Pant stated that the film was created with all age groups in mind. He said, "The film has passed the censor. This is a matter of joy. Now viewers of all ages can watch this film, especially since the name itself is ‘Aa Bata Aama’ (A for Mother)."

The film's actress, Bipana Thapa, and actor Pradeep Rawat have arrived in Nepal from India for promotional activities. They are working to bring the film's message to as many people as possible. Meanwhile, actors Paul Shah, Usha Upreti, and Simran Pant, who are in Nepal, are also actively involved in the promotion.

The song ‘Laija Khabar E Hawa’ featured in the film has already become quite popular among the audience.

Produced under the banner of Arya Entertainment, the film features lead roles by Bipana Thapa, Paul Shah, Pradeep Rawat, Usha Upreti, Simran Pant, Saigrace Pokharel, Gajit Bista, and Begum Nepali.

The story and screenplay are written by Director Pant himself, with music composed by Koshish Chhetri, Babul Giri, and Thaneshwar Gautam. The choreography for the music videos was handled by Gambhir Bista and Dilip Okheda. The dialogues were written by Abhimanyu Nirabi, with collaborations from Amar Neupane and Chandra Pant. The film was shot by Navaraj Upreti.

The project is funded by Krishna Prasad Subedi, Omkar Pant, Prakash Jung Kunwar, Dhruva Prasad Neupane, and Kshitiz Dhungana. Karan Singh Rasaili serves as the executive producer.

The film was edited by Milan Shrestha, while Sahil Khan handled the trailer and teaser. RR Films is managing the distribution, and OSR Digital holds the digital rights.
