Volleyball Tournament Savings Donated to Three Schools Including Aarbabijaya

Pokhara – The savings from a volleyball tournament organized by the youth of Pokhara Metropolitan City Ward No. 13 have been donated to three schools.
Coordinated by the youth of Ward No. 13, the first Amalachaur Chapdanda Veterans Volleyball Tournament was held last Chaitra. As per the decision to invest the remaining funds in health and education, the amount was handed over to schools in Ward No. 13, informed program coordinator Devendra Pariyar. According to him, Aarbabijaya Secondary School, Dhandbensi received NPR 15,000, Amarjyoti Basic School, Amalachaur received NPR 22,500, and Simla Basic School, Aarva received NPR 10,000 in assistance.
Out of the total collected amount of NPR 277,591, after deducting expenses, NPR 61,336 remained as savings, from which the donations were made, said financial coordinator Ram Prasad Baral.
The handover programs were held on Wednesday at all three schools, with participation from sports coordinator Amrit Pariyar, Shree Adhikari, financial coordinator Ram Prasad Baral, Laxman Prasad Baral, deputy coordinator Suraj Adhikari, Shambhu Sigdel, and others.
