Vitamin A and Deworming Medicine Being Administered to Children Nationwide

Kathmandu — The government is continuing to administer Vitamin A and deworming medicine to children across the country today as well. As part of the National Vitamin A Program, the Ministry of Health and Population has been providing Vitamin A capsules along with deworming medicine to children over two days, Sunday and today.

According to the Department of Health Services, Vitamin A capsules will be given to around 2.2 million children aged between six months and 59 months during this campaign. Similarly, about 2 million children aged between one year and under five years will also be given the deworming medicine Albendazole.
